Plon release their second album, Th’ Eternal Wedding Band, after the material, mainly written in 2004, was slowed down and re-written for three instrumentalists.
Founded by Matt and Tinu - later joined by Jan - at the tail-end of 2002 and located in Argovia, the surmounting plonian tendency towards idiosyncratic doom and desert rock compositionsresulted in the recording of the track To My Brethren, Plon's contribution to the Swiss metal compilation HEAVY METAL NATION .
Further participations in German and Italian compilation projects as well as the release of the EP Days Of Sorrow heralded in 2006. But those are but the seven trumpets to announce Th’ Eternal Wedding Band.
Doom takes its time as there is nothing worth striving for.
