Dawn of the Hero - Биография

Dawn Of The Hero is a Progressive/Technical Metalcore act from Albany, NY consisting of Kyle Pipino, Taylor Stinson and Dave Greene. Originally known as Cap Gun Roulette from 2006 to early 2010, the band then changed their name to Dawn Of The Hero due to a drastic change in their sound. After the name change they quickly entered RQR Studios in Massachusetts for 3 days in April 2010 to record their first official release entitled "Our Vagrant Throne" released May 14th, 2010. The EP included re-recorded material and was met with recognition from their local music scene and beyond with sites including heavymetalreview.com stating “…I couldn’t stop listening to each track, these musicians are extremely talented/young and show it very well on this EP…" Then going on to give it a 9 out of 10. While being featured on Metalsucks.com and playing countless shows along New England, Dawn Of The Hero very quickly gained a strong following.

Since then the band has recorded a second EP entitled "The Last Stand". With the new sound a new "DOTH" has gained more fans than ever. The band has come a long way and plans to go even further with bigger shows and a bigger attitude. Music is in every one of their hearts and Dawn strives to put on the best stage show they possibly can. Big crowd, small crowd, It does not matter. "They paid for a show, Give them a show", These are words Dawn Of The Hero live by. With 2012 just around the corner DOTH is preparing to enter the studio once again to record their third EP rounded out with touring plans throughout the year. Passion is what drives the young band and they have no plans to stop in sight.

"I'm just sick of music not moving people. When i grew up thats what music did to me. It moved me. Now it's all about looking cool, playing fast and having breakdowns. Thats all fine and dandy but I want to make people feel something."
