Applescal - Биография

Нis real name is Pascal Terstappen, that he’s a 22 year old producer based in Amsterdam and that he loves to make music. He only plays live, which means he is not a dj, but a live performer. He grew up in Breda where he came in touch with electronic music and software synthesizers at the age of 14. Without any musical background and loads of dedication he learned to make music himself, in a small loft at his parents place.
His first EP got released on the Dutch imprint Manual Music (2007). A few more EP's and remixes followed on Deep Focus and Groove Collection. The reactions were fine and the Dutch underground scene was ‘quite happy’ with this new young producer.
In 2009 the German imprint Traum Schallplatten knocked at the door. After a solid 12” record, Applescal’s debut album 'A Slave's Commitment' got released here (August 2009).
After the debut album Applescal remixed Extrawelt and Ricardo Tobar. Also Hernan Cattaneo remixed Applescal’s track “Describe the Doc” for his Renaissance CD. John Digweed and Laurent Garnier played his music again and a lot other DJ’s followed.
So far, the story continues… Аlbum called "A Mishmash of Changing Moods" (Traum Schallplatten), released april 2010.
