The Band was established in March 2007 in Kiev, the two friends Yarik and Kum and was originally called STORMRIDER. With STORMRIDER focused on Heavy-Speed Metal and repertoire consisted of covers of Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc. But the biggest problem was finding the normal lead singer for these styles. This is strained… Radical changes came in the autumn of 2007. Kiev visit Kreator and after their concert views on what band want to play have changed. It changed the group name and style. It appeared a group CRUSHER playing Thrash Metal. Without too much pathos can say that CRUSHER is the only functioning group in Kiev playing Thrash Metal old school. Today CRUSHER is: Yarik (guitar, vocals), Serge (bass) and Rus (drums). The band played with Fleshgore, THD and other well-established bands. Interviews with the CRUSHER published in the magazine Thrash Metal Revival. The songs "On The Needle" and "Politishit" released in Russian collections "Do The Thrash" and "Freedom Metal Festival - Russian Thrash Metal" CD2.The song "On The Needle" is taken as the soundtrack for the movie "Revenge of Eddie 3" from Kiev Studios Independent Film "UPV". Released EP "Politisit (One Take Demo Tape)". Over the last 2009 the band played more than a dozen concerts in different cities of Ukraine. The concerts of CRUSHER are always full frenzy!
