These words are only a few sensations that describe the sound and perceived imagery of Diminished 7. Started by Alex Crescioni in 2007 as a side project, Diminished 7 has taken off quite rapidly as much more than an idea. As previous bands include Crushing Skulls & Reciprocal, technical death metal has been a massive influence in musical style and ability. A sudden urge to create dark and atmospheric songs, with a mainstream hook, overpowered his musical direction and songwriting. Brought up on piano, switching to guitar, and now, vocal interest has transformed and opened up his visions of music as a whole, with no limitations.
The debut album “DIM WORLD” displays tracks presenting a blend of 7 string guitar riffs and melancholic synths and vocal melodies.
