Sevenfield - Биография

Sevenfield was created in 2008 by four metalheads from the streets of Oslo that had the mutual idea of a band. They all wanted to make something different, and with that in mind they had to find the perfect frontman. After several auditions with talented but not perfectly fitted vocalists, the search led them abroad into their neighboring country Sweden, where Robin Strand was casted. Creativity was flowing, and the whole band learned to know each musicalwise, which resulted in a three year record deal with Ovis Records.

After working on a full-length album, the band got the chance to record their tracks with Aaron Carey at Kompound Music in Arizona. As a very talented producer, Aaron brought Sevenfield to new heights by creating the bands sound. The album is scheduled for release in September 2010.

As a norwegian metal band, it's hard not to become a part of the ever popular black metal scene. Sevenfield has managed to create their own style of music, and they are now taking their place in the ranks of a new wave of metal in Norway. Known for being a hard hitting live act, Sevenfield will brand a permanent mark on your memory during a show. With music and lyrics-contributions from everyone in the band, they deliver a diverse setlist, with a variation of meaning and content.
