Henry Witt и Hendrik Menzl познакомились в начале нулевых, когда еще просиживали за партами в школе. Решили создать собственную хип-хоп группу и назвать ее Halbe Hemden. В 2004 году выпустили EP. Но на хип-хоп сцене ребята чувствовали себя некомфортно. «Хип-хоп — это скучно», — говорит Henry. Hendrik может и думает несколько иначе, но все-таки с высказыванием коллеги согласен: «Любая музыка окажется скучной, если вы будете заниматься ее достаточно долго». В дальнейшем ребята сосредоточились на электронной музыке.

Lazerhawk

Lazerhawk is Garrett Hays from Austin, Texas, USA. His outrun electro is robot pop mixed with dark synths and the occasional lyric. Two years ago I described him as reminiscent of everything that was good in the 80’s: synthesizer jams with gargantuan leads, hard toms, spaced-out melody and the pains of being pure at heart. Since then he has experimented with chill wave and disco, but with a fundamental link to the 80s.

Warm, analogue dreamwave; mind-altering glitch; world-infused groove; bass-fueled breaks; sexified down-tempo; electric lullabies; and psy-fi funk are just a few of the genres that have poured from the Ambassador’s soul into earbuds and ghetto-blasters across the galaxy.

Kids of 88

Kids of 88 - нью-вейв группа из Окленда, крупнейшего города Новой Зеландии. The group was founded in 2004 in Bielefeld, Germany. This is Schwefelgelb - shrill, unrestrained and biting. Influences from Punk, Wave, Techno, Trash and Rock'n'Roll are combined with a very own and bizarre performance. Concrete and love, consumption and mourning - that's their inspiration. Issues like gender and aggression, feeling and society are staged by a pushing electronic sound and an extrovert and ironic show.

Житель Берлина Moritz Friedrich больше известен миру как Siriusmo - под этим именем он выпускает собственные треки на Boys Noize Records, а также состоит в немецком поп-дуэте Dana & Siriusmo. Не смотря на выпускающий лейбл, музыка Siriusmo не звучит в больших клубах в прайм тайм, это современные электронные вариации на тему диско и фанка, которые больше подходят для танцев дома.
