Skeletal Remains - американская дэт-метал-группа из Уиттиера, Калифорния. Дебютный альбом "Beyond The Flesh" выпущен 9 ноября 2012 года лейблом F.D.A. Rekotz.

This Buffalo, New York, USA-based death metal band rose from the ashes of >Baphomet, and released one album, >The Dead Shall Inherit, in 1991 on Deaf Records. The name change was prompted by a German group who claimed prior use of the title, and Banished was selected to avert potential legal difficulties. However, their debut material under the new name was not without its problems. Several commentators were struck by the sleeve artwork of their 1993 album, designed by Tim Vigil from Faust Comic Books - unconsciously echoing a sentiment in the spoof ‘rockumentary’ This Is Spinal Tap, their guitarist Tom Frost justified the cover thus: ‘It’s not like a sexist thing in the sense that it’s real. The picture has all women in it, even the demon in the middle is a woman, with a huge strap-on horn…’

Кто не помнит сногшибательного хита «I like to move it»? Им были заражены все танцполы 90х. Вплоть до недавнего времени, когда его переигрывали DJ Alligator с Dr.Alban’ом. Этот трек даже включили в мультик «Мадагаскар», где его исполняют симпатичные лемуры во главе с королем Джулианом (Саша Барон Коэн (он же Али Джи, он же нашумевший Борат))
Хаус-рагга-проект продюсера и Ди-Джея Erick Morillo и рэп-певца Mad Stuntman (Mark Quashie) записывался по невиданным для тогдашней студии Strictly Rhythm Records правилам. «Сведенки» с винилов, а не игра на инструментах. На особый успех никто не рассчитывал, но когда сначала Бруклин, затем Старый Свет, а вскоре вся планета вертели филейными частями под «Вуман! Я найс, свит, фантастик», ребята поняли, что продали свои хиты по дешевке. На пике волны популярности Эрик стал одним из продюсеров MTV’ишного проекта Zig&Zag – Them Girls. Те, кто смотрел европейский MTV канал в середине девяностых вспомнят этих двух кукол (похожих на персонажей «Улицы Сезам»). Альбом 96 года «Are You Ready For Some More?» отличился добавлением в свое звучание латины и афро-карибской музыки и уже не воспроизвел такого большого эффекта на «зараженную» Стантмэновским вирусом публику, но в целом является сбалансированным и самодостаточным произведением.
В настоящее время Эрик Морилло ушел в андеграунд, записывается в основном на 12”, выезжает на Ибицу, где продолжает заводить публику своими сетами. На сегодняшний день у него выпущен «My world» (2004), включающий в себя оригинальный диск и 3 диска с сэтами, а в конце 2006 - макси-промо «Dance I Said». Что же касается Мэд Стантмэна – он долгое время был в тени, но в 2006 вместе с Dolce выпустил сингл Nasty Girl. Вернутся ли ребята из андеграунда к широкой публике – этот вопрос остается открытым.

Aeons of Eclipse

Aeons of Eclipse came into existence August 2004. The concept of the band was to create the darkest and fastest music possible. The original lineup of Scott Briggs (drums), Derek Boles, (guitar, bass), Ryan Meadows (vocals) and Ryan Morkulven (guitar, keys) quickly set out to record the demo "From Dark Distance" very soon after the band's conception. The sound featured a very stripped down and raw sound of what was to come, occasionally even being quite melodic while retaining a very distinct sense of darkness. Ryan Morkulven soon left the band only to return in 2007. To fill the gaps, the band enlisted the help of their good friend Adam Schroer (guitar) and Derek's younger brother Dusty Boles (bass) and eventually master shredder Andre Phelps upon Adam's exit. While each member stayed for only a short while, this was to be the only period in which the band ever had a full live lineup as the band had never had a live bassist before or since Dusty's membership. Writing was in full swing to create what would become the debut full length album "The Hour of Desolation." The music was much faster and far more brutal than the band ever thought possible. Ryan Meadows was replaced by throat mangler Scott Slinker in time for the recording of the album. Upon release, the album garnered some very positive reviews that inspired and motivated the band to do even better as writing began for a second full length in summer 2009. However, this period saw yet more lineup changes. Ryan Morkulven had left the band again and Scott Slinker had moved on as well. After a short search Erik Rothfuss (vocals) and Andy Webber (guitar) joined the band and helped write and record the band's strongest material to date. "The Parasite" was fully realized showing further maturation of the band's sound into a much darker and heavier entity. The band sadly grew apart upon completion of the album's recording with members moving far away and becoming involved in other projects and activities. The album however shall see a long overdue posthumous release sometime during summer 2013.

Группа была сформирована в январе 2007 года, когда вокалист Jacob Enfinger и гитарист Andy McLeod встретили гитариста Alex Crescioni и барабанщика Dustin Perle на интернет-ресурсе Musicians Wanted. В процессе познания профессионализма и музыкальных талантов друг друга ребятами был создан один из самых сумасшедших коллективов нашего времени.
