The Setup

After enduring a very demanding 2008 with personal los and half of their line-up changed, the crawl & reign ep proved The Setup was more alive than ever. This release however was only a glimpse of what is coming. With their upcoming full length album ‘Torchbearer’ The Setup prove that they’re still a force to be reckoned with. This record is by far the heaviest album they ever wrote and above all, it captures their trademark live sound. 33 minutes of explosive guitar riffing, hard hitting drums, and vicious vocals is Torchbearer in a nutshell. Songs like “Hostile Eyes”, “Drown and Sink” and “Another Heresy” are the living proof The Setup raised the bar once again. Recorded by Jacob Olsen (Born From Pain, Hatesphere, Moonspell, Gorefest) This collaboration resulted in 12 bone crushing songs that will grab you by the throat and leave you breathless. It’s no secret, The Setup faced some dark times which eventually led to an album that embodied this struggle, so no one will be surprised Torchbearer is an album full of anger, frustration and hate but even more it’s also an album of hope, because in a world where no one seems to care and many of us feel alone, the torchbearer will rise to show us there is more out there than what we are told.

Congress

Congress formed in 1993, when all HC activity in europe was low… Most bands played either straightforward youthcrew HC or emo/post HC. Congress tried to blend the aggression and fury of HC with the technique and heaviness of metal. The successtory started in 1994 with the release of the classic 7"/MCD 'Euridium'. The term Edgemetal was born, the H8000 style of HC was created and lots envied that style and area. Goodlife contacted the band and in 1995 the milestone in metallic HC 'Blackened Persistance' was released. Congress found itself in a leading place touring with bands like Neglect, Morning Again, All out War…and playing festivals with either metal- or NYHC bands. In 1998, they released 'Angry with the Sun' in which the band mixed old school HC with black/trash/gothic metal and played concerts at the legendary 'Dynamo Open Air', 'Graspop' and 'Dour festival'. One release later ('Stake through the Heart', which meant the end of the bands' existence) the band fell apart.

Arkangel

Even if the band exists for 10 years now, it seems to be the beginning of a long and immortal decade, of total war against all, through music and lyrics. With a first MCD "Prayers upon deaf ears" (RPP 1998) and a full CD "Dead man Walking" (GLR 1999) Arkangel have gained popularity in Europe, The United States and other countries. Their music which is undeniably metal, influenced by HC, acquired a lot of originality but also Arkangels's singer Baldur got a determinant role with his vocals attaining a supreme level of brutality. In 2001, they played at the Hellfest in Syracuse US followed by more shows in Canada. Over 2002/2003 the band played shows all over Europe, headlined the famous Sant Feliu Hardcore fest (Spain) and got the chance to play as support for bands such as Machine Head…Finally, in August 2004, Arkangel went to studio again and recorded their new album with the help of Koen De Boeve who produced their first MCD. This new album, "Hope you die by overdose" has been released in november 2004 on their own and brand new label PRIVATE HELL RECORDS. Right after the release, Arkangel started to play shows in Belgium, Holland, France, UK and got the opportunity to play in Japan at the first edition of the "Independence-D" festival together with bands such as The Misfits and The Dillinger Escape Plan. Back from Japan, they continued their invasion of the world playing all over Europe (ex: Fury Fest in France with bands such as: Fantomas, Anthrax, Neurosis, Slayer, Motorhead, Megadeth, Mastodon,………….)…In October 2005, the new cd has been licenced for the Japanese distribution to God' s Child Music….a full japanese tour followed as well as a show in Seoul, Korea.

Blood Redemption

Blood Redemption has been around on the local Southern California Hardcore scene for about 4 years, with a few changes and tons of live shows along the way. Having been blessed with the opportunity to play with some of the bigger name national tours as they pass through, as well as make friends on the local scene, they've finally set out to record their debut album, due later this year. Their goal; to not only showcase the talent they've been blessed with, but also the passion for lost and hurting people in a time and a part of society that is full of them. The message; that there is more to this life than meets the eye, and there are people, and a God, who loves us all, and the has the forgiveness and purpose we all seek.

Дирк Свартенбрёкс с 1996-го года делает "тёплые" композиции под псевдонимом Buscemi. Назвал он себя так в честь Стива Бушеми, одного из своих любимых актёров. Его стиль глубок и непрост, чтобы его охарктеризовать: нью-босса, нью-лаундж, хаус, бразильские ритмы, афро-ритмы, драм'н'бейс… "Танцевальная музыка с латинским оттенком" - возможно, лучшее определение звучания Buscemi.
