Makio

Singer songwriter 'Makio' was originally born in Nairobi, Kenya, on the east of coast of Africa. When he was still an infant, he moved with his mother to the U.S after his parents separated and settled in Baltimore, Maryland where he spent most of his early childhood. Growing up with a single mother and soon to be little brother, Makio became accustomed to moving around the East Coast and overseas to help his mother make ends meet. Fortunately, Makio found the time to appreciate music, inspired but the likes of Michael Jackson, Prince and Stevie Wonder. When Makio settled in Massachusetts, his mother, having already realized his talents for dance and music at an early age, put him in multiple dance and fitness classes before he even learned the power of his voice. Honing his skills as a stage performer as he matured in production plays and state choirs, his dreams of stardom grew.

Получаются страннейшие песни: слишком угловатые и кривые для поп-хитов. Донельзя минималистичные, где больше места занимают пробелы и пустоты, чем продюсерские хитрости. Печальные и проникновенные: Маконнен поет неумело, как ребенок, дорвавшийся до микрофона, но если бы можно было замерить в песнях уровень эмоционального напряжения, то здесь он бы порвал все шкалы.

Aaradhnaben Jayantilal Patel (born December 1983), better known by her stage name Aaradhna, is a New Zealand R&B/pop recording artist and producer, signed under the music label Dawn Raid Entertainment. She made her musical debut in 2004 featuring on the single "Getting Stronger" with the group Adeaze which peaked at number one on the official New Zealand Singles Chart.
